Born Hunter 17,832
Spoke to a lot of people this last week about this and so far only 2 have said they'll vote for remain. 1 was my accountant today, he said he's worried from a business point of view, I said f**k em it's all guess work and scaremongering, will the whole British economy come crashing down around us on Friday if the vote goes for out?? I don't think so and I'm willing to take the gamble. Anyhow thats 2 out of at least 20, and of all of them they are saying the same, very few seem to be saying they are voting remain, here's hoping.... Unfortunately a significant number within my peer group seem to be remainers. The EU really have a strangle on science and research issues. I have a bit of a reputation for 'passionate debate' and non liberal views, lol, so not many openly challenge my views which don't help. I'm in an odd position of allegedly living in the most eurosceptic region of the UK but belong to one of the most europhile demographics.
kanny 21,087
EU boss tells scameron there will be no reform if we remain http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/682361/EU-referendum-Brussels-Jean-Claude-Juncker-David-Cameron-no-more-reform-Remain No mention of this ^ on the evening news yet it's on all the major news websites..unbelievable people have the right to know that if we are in then there's no chance of bringing any kind of reform to the EU and things will only get more bureaucratic and theres no chance of limited immigration. I had the discussion today with a mate, we mix in circles which are probably like minded and of a similar age group, and perhaps that's why we all think similarly. I don't tend to mix with 20-25 year olds so much or students etc.... My brother said to me earlier that a youngster (one of his daughters friends, 18 or so) said to him, "we've got to vote to remain now in memory of that poor politician"... Can't really see many undecideds being persuaded by Farage my thoughts exactly I totally agree.... he already has the right in his hand but its the middle ground that need persuading to win this This is why I said in another thread he was badly adviced on "the poster" at this point in the game it was a bad move imo.
