Night Vision Setup

Recommended Posts

just got a very nice falcon prairie from a lad on here (carl williamson) for a great price,(cheers carl) and bought a photon 6.5x50 nv scope to put on it, cant weight to get out with it,,, r10 super carbine for day and falcon prairie multie for night, both .177

What is it about us shooters? At the time of year when the nights are at their shortest (under 6 hours) we buy ruddy night vision equipment? I did exactly the same a few years ago....

The best add on is a Ward D-800 ,the 700 was a great bit of kit but the new 800 one is even better

Just bumping this how do folk find the photon during the day. After along while and loads of messing finally got it zeroed but feel it's pretty useless as a day scope.

I don't think they are that good at night either ,even with a different IR .

Had a look through one with 105mm lens on , still crap IMO and no where near good as a ward D-700 add on
