Thought Id get out at 7am this morning, but the booze from the night before stopped that so aimed for 11am.

 

First call, was a set of sitty tress, but f'k me it was hard to see any birds in the near by ones, with all the foliage, the leaves have come on strong since I visited last. So just sat for like 5 hours waiting and waiting for any to pitch into the less leafy tree, but it was a lasered 40-52 yards. Front near to far branches. Fortunately, over that period a few birds did turn up, two got it in the lemon. I missed two, one can thank its luck to a twig that was literally at the muzzle.

 

Walking back, took two rabbits along a long track, one being on the train line. I also managed a young Jackdoor, but couldn't be arsed to take a piccy as I was late home. Ill be back for the rest with my Rapid.

 

Imp visit is going well, very well. Im learning its character a bit more now. Ive also started using H&N FTT's, in 5.53 and there a much better fit. The Fields in .52 weren't quite as tight in the breech as Id of liked. H&N are laser like. Started video 2 with the Imp too. Should be up in a few days.

Good to be out mate. Great shooting too.

I've just bought an MFR and I really do rate it. So much smother and nicer to use than my last rapid.

Note sure Ill have it long enough man, got 400'ish FTT's to go through. Ill be sending it back in a week or two, and they last me til then.

If it is only your head Rez, then I would go for it. Anything more important further down then I would leave well alone.
