Pellet Trap

Hi guys I have just moved house and intend to build a permanent pellet trap . I made one at the last house with 5 2x2 slabs just a box it had a strand of fencing wire running through it to hang targets off . It was perfect really but my wife said it was ugly and spoiled the garden . So I am looking to build something more pleasing to the eye . Any ideas or pics . Thinking more of railway sleepers cut up I tend to make things100xs stronger than they need to be so my pellet trap was a bit ott .

Have you asked the wife whether she has looked in the mirror lately , and say that is what i have to wake up in the morning to , that's what i would of said

Haha yeah good point but I am hoping she is gonna get me a sfs imp for crimbo so I will keep quiet as you do .

A bog standard bale of straw takes a million pellets to destroy and the impact is silent.

If you encase the bale with a cheap timber frame, it lasts a long, long, time.

A nice lump of log. Ring or section from the trunk turned on its side and shoot at the large round face. The end grain.

It will need to be pine or Conifer

It won't look daft. Lasts and works a treat.

Used to shoot 177 targets for a club competitively at metal bell faces, one of the lads made one for out his back, was on a stand almost like a bird house was a nice looking setup.
