ghostlyease 17
A.C.E.S (Athletic Canine Enthusiast Society) We are holding an ACES field day on Dec 15th Location is 15 mins drive from Gatwick airport, we will be doing some lure racing, long jump and Aframe, we may have a few other surprises there too. £5 per dog, each dog gets four 100 meter runs and is timed over that distance, pups and inexperienced welcomed, plenty of people there to help you get your dog going, needless to say the experienced dog is more than welcome too. All money raised on the day will go to Joanna masons rescue, the lady herself will be there on the day with a stall of goodies for sale. Pups 6 months and under are free but will only do 50 meters. Here are some pics from past ACES field days and although these days are attended by bull breeds mostly the days are totally non breed or experience specific, any breed of dog welcome. 100 meters Long jump Aframe PM me for the full details/location. ghostlyease 17
Thank you Kay, they are not mine, we have been very lucky, we made friends with one of the professional photographers at Paws in the Park this year, we also have Wally who is naturally talented when it comes to picture taking, unfortunately I am the photographer for the charity event, mind you even I can have my moments, lol... Not quite as professional but not bad for a camera that cost under £100 It would be really great to see some other breeds at these events, we have Staffords running the 100 meters in just over 8 seconds, the running dogs beat the socks off of that!!!! Oh newly put in the field!!!! Its a Jenny if your wondering, lol..... This DIY stuff is easy!!!! Edited December 4, 2007 by ghostlyease

Tyla 3,179
We went on saturday and took my 8 mth lurcher bitch and our jrt x whippet puppy. They both had a go on the lure and it was a nice day out despite the snow! The dogs were some of the fittest staffs i have ever seen, real credits to their owners. We had the only running dogs there which was a shame but maybe there will be a few more next time. Thanks to Keeley for inviting us, we will definately go again.
