Guest Frank
I got to my place at around 10, had to drop off my lad to school first. The first bury just had the 4 holes, seen a bunny go in on approaching so netted up. In went the young fert and half hour later, nowt. Located her at 4 ft, waited for a bit, then she came out, so moved on. Seen a bunny in the distance whilst waiting, go into another small bury, 3 holes. netted up and enterd the other young jill. Out pops a bunny, into the net, nice, a bigen too. Netted up another, what i thought was juat a 4 holer and enterd the fert, waited for a wee bit, then from behind me, 2 bunnys poped out and ran across the feild, i missed a hole. All ways the same isint it? I done another couple after, but no one home, ferts still learning and are not quiet warren wise, but they have not had the chance this year, as mxy has really been bad. I headed for home then, as had to pick my lad up from school. When i got home with my 1 rabbit, my whippet pup, went mad playing with it, as seen below. I had a great morning and had fun, good to be out folks. All the best, Frank. Quote Link to post

Ludwig 0
Cheers. Im hopefully out again saturday, if it ever stops raining like mad? Hi Frank, Last time I got out we got one rabbit and a wood pigeon both courtesy of a friends Shotgun which in many ways I felt was cheating so your 1 is impressive in my books. The girl Pup is looking like a winner look forward to seeing her future exploits and good news shes so eager to see a rabbit. Lud Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Thanks Ludwig. It will be fun watching them growing up and seeing the differences ect. I am trying to locate more ferreting ground, not easy at present with family commitments and the weather. Good luck , Frank. Quote Link to post
cúagusgiorraí 57
Hi Frank, The pup is brilliant. She will make a good worker I think. Rabbits are hard hit this year. My local lamping ground was swarming 6 months ago, now I might only see one in a night. Foxes and bad weather is to blame I think. Quote Link to post
mooster 1
nice to get out between the showers. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Im sure the pup will be great for ferreting S. Hopefully anyway Thanks for comment. Your right about the foxes, as their all over the place , seen 4 today, out in the daytime, just walking about. What with the bad sumer weather wise and then mxy, im lucky to get the 1 and 2 more to bolt and run away. Quote Link to post
