I took the plunge and washed the stain out of my hw100 stock and with macs help I tung oiled it and the grain looks amazing....just a thought pal. Quote Link to post
bigmac 97kt 13,816 Posted June 15, 2016 Report Share Posted June 15, 2016 Here you go bud all you will need a bit pricey but you only get what you pay for TUNG OIL THE ONE YOU WANT IS THE PURE TUNG OIL GIVE HER A RUBB OVER WITH SOME 0000 WIRE WOOL FIRST THEN PUT THE TUNG OIL ON HER LEAVE IT FOR AN HOUR THEN BUFF OFF WITH A LINT FREE CLOTH AN OLD T,SHIRT WILL DO THEN LET HER STAND UNTIL THE NEXT DAY AND BUFF HER AGAIN THEN ADD MORE IF NEED BE If you want to lighten up the stock (if she is to dark) let me know and ill pm you with the details of how to do this But dose take longer to achieve but as Matt has say,d its well worth it atvbmac :thumbs: Quote Link to post
