bigmac 97kt 13,796
If the blueing turns out crap, just do it again. Im not happy with it stealthy but then im not sure how its supposed to look when you put it on lol some of the pitting is deep and would have to be machined off and thats some thing i do not have but will go along with the old,,,,new look that i have in mind for her and i was going to strip every thing off her until i was told that the trigger is a bitch to take off and that it would take ages to put back together thats a job for Vizlauk(Sean) lol I need to re do the side leaver as iv just seen a rust spot on her as you will see in the photos im just going to leave the blueing until tomorrow now and crack back on with the stock but i am happy with the way she is coming along any way the fecking stock has been the hardest part bileave it or not lol it had some sort of sealer on under the factory stain and its been a bitch to get off but iv done it now the smoothing off begins lol atvbmac  4 Quote Link to post
tomburras 2,730
Trigger is easy to take off but if you strip the trigger unit its fiddly to put back together. Just found this..... http://www.pyramydair.com/schematics/rwsmodel48-52-54-t05trigger.asp Wish I had this when I stripped mine, it was hard to suss how it went back together after the springs and bits pinged out of it without a diagram. Should be easy with this to follow. Quote Link to post
