Predator control-

Went out with josh to some of my permission .Had to be the best night ,weather wise of the year so far .Just lacked cloud cover .Anyway we set off into the wind and towards where the keeper has lost several birds to both fox and a feral cat of the black variety .This particular keeper is very vigilante but has been unable to shoot either .I took the .22 along because the land borders a housing estate and i thought the centre fire was a bit much .Around the first bend of the second field ,josh spotted a cat up on a pen pole in some game crop ,cheeky bugger and i squeaked .It came belting in but along the crop edge .I knew to have slipped the dog would have resulted in a lost cat so i shot it on the run and unfortunately only winged it .Bracken was slipped and with good turn opf speed ,she had the cat just inside the maize .Well pleased with her .Browney point number one .fishingbowood400ms8.jpg

Phoned the keeper who came down to see it and wasnt sure at first if it was the one ?Finally decided it was and took it for disposal .

Carried on towards the houses and saw a fox on the edge of a wood .I sqeaked

and it too came belting in .Shot it but again a bit low and bracken had to run it down .Good girl ! browney point number 2 .
