Blackbriar 8,569
Haha that's quality you got somewhere to keep it ? It's in a small box, full of hay, inside a small cage. The biggest problem were having is keeping it warm constantly - have to remember to re-heat the wheat bag thingy......

Can be picked up quite cheap online or you might find someone giving one away locally on Facebook
Blackbriar 8,569
Sounds daft but why does it have to be so warm? Is suppose because it's a mammal, and requires a warm, fairly constant temperature, or it will use its reserves up to keep warm, instead of growing.

Blackbriar 8,569
Is this only during its growing phase ? You got a garden you can keep it in when it's bigger? Will definitely release it, mate. It's a wild animal, after all, so hopefully we'll get it back where it belongs......

A thermo mat should only cover half the base, heat rises, then the occupant can move away from direct heat if it wishes to.

Reps had a base heat plus an heat lamp set to a designated area, rock etc, above, thus 2 heat sources.
