JohnGalway 1,043
Howdy folks, Taking the bike out on the hill lately after sheep and naturally I've been getting it bogged the odd time. Managed to get her out on my own so far but there'll come a time.... Mostly swampy drains between lakes that can't really be avoided, and the odd small stream that looks more benign than it actually is, peat is more akin to gease once the skin is broken. So got talking to a neighbouring farmer and his quad had a winch on it when they bought it, reckoned once he brings a fencing post out with him as an anchor it's saved his skin more than once. Can anyone recommend a reliable electric winch that will cope with pulling the bike out? Nothing fancy, want to be able to put her in 4wd and drive at same time as winch is pulling so manual stuff is probably out, but if I'm missing something there am open to suggestion. Budget = cheap! I know that's not good but it's how it is at the moment. Thanks
simononeill93 69
There's a winch on eBay a friend of mine brought about £170 I think.and you can also twist 2 separate cartridges on to the end.one turns it into a compressor which he carries in his box, and the other cartridge turns it to a pressure washer.fits most quads.
