I wasn't saying it to be a cock mate, from what I have seen its true.

The standard of football here is much too gentlemanly by a long chalk......great, fit, skilful players but the physical side is like netball IMHO

Got told off a blade friend of mine about 500 English from various firms up and down the country got together and stormed in to the russians i took it with a pinch of salt when he told me on the phone.

Why is it the english fans get in trouble at every major tournament and the irish dont after drinking just as much beer. They have similar cultures similiar beliefs and similiar countrys. Do the irish have an inferior complex and dont start sh1t because they were never a great nation or can the english just not hold their beer. At top gaelic football matches the opposition fans are all mixed in the stands and there is never any trouble a bit of banter but nothing violent. If you cant behave in someone elses country dont expect immigrants to behave in yours. I like english people why the need for a few yobs to f**k it up on everyone and be part of a firm.

You say English and Irish have similar cultures.......but not within football they dont,far as im aware Ireland have never had any kind of terrace culture whatsoever......theres no point comparing to Gaelic Football or Rugby or other sports folk are inclined to compare to.... football violence was a culture that loads of young men went through it wasnt just about fighting it was about fashion,music loads of things......the scenes we have seen over the last few days with the Russians in my opinion is because they were so repressed for so long that they are only just picking up on stuff that most of Europe have long forgotten about.......similarly to how rap music is currently big with Russian youths.....they are 20 years behind with everything.

maybe so but the likes of hillsborough disaster wouldnt have happened if fans could behave themselves its easy blame the police but if a certain faction of fans didnt behave like animals they wouldnt be fenced in like animals and innocent people lost their lives as a result.

Your right to take it with a pinch of salt mate...its just never been the done thing for English fans to plot up together the only few times i ever remember it happening was when theres been some sort of nationalist element to it like there was at Lansdowne Road in 95 or Dusseldorf in 88 a lot of lads tried to unite for France 98 but its just seen as weak in this country....honestly mate those Russians were on another level to anything ive seen....for most of us it was all a bit of a laugh years ago but this is a different scale this Russian mob were like an army unit it was a completely different atmosphere they wasnt just a bunch of lads running round bashing up likeminded lads like we did back years ago this was just a basic lynch mob out to hurt and maim the general public.

 

And when you think they have the world cup in 2 years time !!......it will be madness nobody will go.....as far as im aware we are the only country who have a specific police unit aimed purely at football hooligans,if I remember right the football intelligence unit was formed after the riots in Dusseldorf in 88 and became part of the National Criminal Intelligence Unit......which is why they can easily keep an eye on our fans but these Russian lads could be anyone from anywhere their police dont really even see it as a crime yet,their national papers reported what a great job they did for crying out loud !.....unless they take drastic action pretty quick i can see the next world cup being a complete disaster...fighting at football is one thing but this just wasnt that.

I heard on the radio the Russians look to have done martial arts and as well as being uniformed they are not drinking and are carrying gum Shields with them.

Almost military like, I may go as far as saying it is possibly state sponsored.
