jiggy 3,209
maybe so but the likes of hillsborough disaster wouldnt have happened if fans could behave themselves its easy blame the police but if a certain faction of fans didnt behave like animals they wouldnt be fenced in like animals and innocent people lost their lives as a result. Whats that got to do with the popular culture of fighting at football ?......if you dont know what your talking about mate dont just guess......thats just silly popular culture of fighting at football if you think its popular i rest my case. To me its scumbags showing their true colours letting the world know how hard you are. There is no pride in that its putting shame on your country.
gnasher16 30,470
BDG but the Tunisians resided in Marseille Some billed them as French And by alll accounts they started the first lot of trouble on Friday ? So they live in France and support the French football team... Wouldn't that make them French supporters? The business with Tunisia go,s back to the world cup in 98 BGD......our opening game was against them and there was massive violence in Marseille again from the old port right down to the beech it was a messy few days and theres a big North African population there so i guess they didnt forget. gnasher16 30,470
How it works is anything that happens inside a ground is down to Uefa......anything that happens outside a ground is down to police.......my guess would be French police liased with English police and identified folk that way.......and French police liased with Russian police and was told to get f****d ! BGD 6,436
Who's more likely to get arrested the pissed up England fans that stand about getting a bit lairy or the well organised groups of sober Russians roaming the street executing well organised attacks? Simple as that surely.
pesky1972 5,350
How come half a dozen - Dozen English lads have been lifted ' one a 16 year old But not 1 Ruskie ?????! I say give Our lads their passports back and let them travel. Let's have a level playing field. After all the English - Brits did not start this but if they going to be blamed for the troubles over France ' Give England something to be blamed for. Is this the same guy that was getting his knickers in a right old twist calling for lifetime bans etc when a few West Ham fans threw some bottles at a coach? I thought you were a pacifist max Think it was point deductions..., maybe he thinks England should get points deducted for tearing up the port area and attacking the police for two days before they got a hiding off the Russians? Of course they won't . But honestly ' I wish they would . Them Ruskis are beating up on folk who don't stand a chance for the best part It's like matching a Mastif into a English Setter Let the British Bulldogs loose I say As iv said A nice level playing field . You do talk some shite Max. Edited June 13, 2016 by pesky1972

All over the main & sports media from Friday morning (reporting Thursday night). Some quotes and links.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36496823 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36504410 Police in Marseille have deployed tear gas for a second evening to disperse England fans gathered ahead of the Euro 2016 football championships. Officers in riot gear clashed with fans who threw bottles at police in the streets of the Old Port district. The fresh clashes in Marseille began outside a pub in the same area that had been affected by trouble on Thursday and continued well into the night. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36509843 Police in riot gear clashed with England fans, and used tear gas for a third day and a water cannon to try and stop outbursts of violence. I read your first post with interest, as I know from previous stuff you've posted that you've followed England a fair bit and know the score with what happened out there, and would give a good and grounded account of what you saw. And if you read my earlier posts, you'll see I've no interest in digging up England fans for what they did or didn't do..., I'm just not buying Max's version that the innocent English fans were sitting having a quiet beer when they were set about by African immigrants. England may not be the force they once were, but surely they've not all chucked it or were stuck at home with their passports confiscated? The video shows the England fans goading and then throwing bottles at the French coppers. There's no context regards what happened before this etc., so I'll take it at face value. It also shows (at about 5.00) the English mob (maybe a couple of hundred?) getting run down the street by a couple of dozen guys mostly in black shirts (Russians?). Not like England that. I've read a few reports about the Russian cnuts attacking ordinary punters that were only there for the game, both in & out of the ground, and there's no glory or honour in that. They have however taken England's mantle and established themselves as the 'team to beat' so far this tourney. Maybe Mad Max should write to Theresa May and get her to let the bulldogs off the leash right enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4IR8iE-wb0 Edited June 13, 2016 by pesky1972
