England Fans Have Started Playing Up At Euros

Wilf most of the English lads who are into that sort of thing are on banning orders sat at home with their passports down the local nick till the Euros are over.

Most of them over there are everyday folk who have had no choice but to defend themselfs.

Just been a British copper on the radio, he was basically saying the same thing.

wont it be just the same for any other countries lads with banning orders though I would have thought can't just see them stopping the English lads

I don't know what everyone's getting all excited about anyway, seeing what you are made of when you go away is part of being a lad.

It's easy to be a big man in your local but travelling outside your comfort zone is what tests your metal, it's part and parcel of being away at events like this with your pals.

You really need to have been to big competitions like this to comment , the way english fans can be treated has to be seen to be believed . if them ruskiz think they will get away with this again they may be in for the shock they deserve . I remember getting back to Brussels on the train , pretty late at night after an evening kick off against Germany . the road lined with riot police . one foot out of place from us earned us beating and arrested . captain kirks throwing everything including the kitchen sink and the police just made sure we stayed in the escort so they couldn't miss the target lol. It had been a long fun day and most of us had enough and wanted to call it day but the locals and Turks wanted to give us no rest lol . if I had my time again I would do more national games with mates .

Ive just got back this morning after 3 days there we stayed at La Residence Hotel which is on the north side of the old port a few hundred yards opposite the Queen Victoria where most of the trouble was.....the long and the short of it is us English fans are seen as the ultimate victory for a country who has a culture of football violence......we spoke to loads of Russians and they said as soon as the fixtures came out their " ultras " were throwing parties !

 

Im loathe to call us victims as we,re not whiter than white when it comes to causing carnage at tournaments.......but i dont ever remember us running at families and people wearing colours these Russians were organised but didnt care who they ran at as long as they had England flags.....they were stone cold sober,were walking round with gumshields in their mouths,carrying telescopic batons........make no bones about it they kicked the shit out of us and saw it as the ultimate victory simply because they are currently going through the same " terrace culture " that we had 20/30 years ago.....all that shit ended here ages ago they,ve turned up 15 years too late !!......there was a group of around 40 Russians wearing their black shirts,all big strong lads bang up for it who were running round for 3 days unchallenged by police......the French plod and riot police were more interested in looking after the couple of billionaire playboys yachts that were pitched up in the port than stopping trouble.....they were happy to fire off tear gas or shoot their water cannons but didnt seem to fancy getting up close and personal......a few years ago id of been right up for all that but for the most part we was just watching it all from our balcony as was the majority of England fans.... most of the lads you see on the news slinging chairs and f****n about are the stragglers and impressionable kids who have watched the football factory or read some of the books and think they have something to live up to but their hearts just not in it........the carry on in the stadium was a joke we was over the other side but there was whispers all game that there were Russians with England tops on all over the place.....again no stewarding or policing.

 

Having got back i cant believe all the shit im reading about chucking England out of the tournament.......its like a 50 people all in a pub having a private party and 20 lunatics come in and start kicking everyone up in the air.................then everyone gets barred from the pub !!.......im not whingeing about it as i understand how a reputation can go before you i know what thats all about........but i do think our media has a habit of kicking us in the bollocks any chance they get whether its on the pitch or off and whether we are right or wrong........ it would be nice for a change if they actually recognised their was more to this and stood up for their own for a change.....anyway sorry for going on a bit.
