VOON 1,317
Two totally different things I'd say most Average working class folk from any country in Europe would want to leave the EU if given a chance and let their owncitizens control their own destiny instead of funding bigger Government. I also would like to think if certain factions would like to attack supporters of any European country's that football supporters would stand together and let them have some . Just because you want out the EU does not mean you don't want what's best for folk of other European country's . Don't take it to serious Max, said "tongue in cheek" for a bit of banter..... jiggy 3,209
Why is it the english fans get in trouble at every major tournament and the irish dont after drinking just as much beer. They have similar cultures similiar beliefs and similiar countrys. Do the irish have an inferior complex and dont start sh1t because they were never a great nation or can the english just not hold their beer. At top gaelic football matches the opposition fans are all mixed in the stands and there is never any trouble a bit of banter but nothing violent. If you cant behave in someone elses country dont expect immigrants to behave in yours. I like english people why the need for a few yobs to f**k it up on everyone and be part of a firm.

We don't have these problems in rugby. As for immigrants not behaving in our country, we should come down on them behaving badly in ours, just like the French are doing over there. Lab 10,979
I think a lot is reputation Other nations try their hand against the English and when they go back at them it's all Our fault The media half want the English to have a go back Foreign police have zero tolerance with the English and it escalates . A mixture of the above for the best part I'd say. That's a round about way of saying you do nothing wrong.? ?Better just to stick your hands up and say there are an element of dickhead fans that are hell bent on finding bother.

Brewman 1,192
There's a big difference supporting the soldiers that went to war legitimately ie the Falklands where some died and backing up pissed up football fans that were looking for trouble or didn't go out of their way to avoid it. That doesn't include all fans just the hooligan element.
