You take 3 photos, one over exposed one under exposed and one just about right and it stitches them together. The good thing is they don't have to be on a tripod. The good thing is they don't have to be on a tripod. can you just duplicate the one photo? That can be done. It is known as Pseudo-HDR. But the results tend to look very unnatural. It is better to take multiple exposures. The greater the dynamic range (contrast) the more exposures you should take. But 3 is obviously the minimum. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
