Law comes into effect 1 January then you will have to apply for a visitors permit £20 do not know how that lasts for.

I will not swear to it but I heard that you will have to get a temporary visitors ticket to take your gun but you know as well as I do that it is unlikely you would have a problem but a phone call to the police is the easiest way forward in future.
