Got a Toyota Avensis estate ...had it 2 years and its never letme down, theres 152,000 on the clock still runs sweet as a nut.Took it into Toyota a few months back for a headlight bulb and was telling them how pleased I am with it,apparently theres a guy in scotland driving one with over a million miles on it(possibly Haymin).2litre D4D engine,40 + miles to the gallon.Only criticisms , crap turning circle and a bit on the slow side, would deffo have another.ATB Dave

No no no no.... Dont anybody get a Mazda6, they are shite, i was talking bollocks earlier in the thred... deluded, thats it!

Take it from me, steer well clear of them Mazda 6's... (Till i get mine!!) ;)

What sort of year and model you looking at Bosun? You heard much about their reliability and repair costs?

I've looked at the Mazda 6 Estate myself, the 2.2 top spec, you got a lot of toys for your money. Leather, Sat Nav, Bluetooth you name it. And at 170 horses should have a bit of poke.

I just haven't heard much about them, good or bad.

Looking for a 61 or less Gaz, a 2.2 TD, full speck would be the ideal as i want to get over to the continent.

As far as reliability goes, from what i gather its no different than a Ford, which it really is. But as i said earlier, you get a lot of car for your dollar and it looks a damn sight better than others in its class.
