boyo 1,398
One of mine used to whine in the kennel absolutely no fear of hose would just stand there & get a soaking so i cable tied a piece of clear perspex to bottom half of gate going into kennel run & when ever she'd start i'd shout No & chuck a tub of water at perspex & even tho she didnt get a soaking it stopped her over nite??!! neems 2,406
I start them for an hour at a time with a bone, when it's time to move full time make sure he's knackered, full of good food and has a bone to chew whenever he's in there. 1 Quote Link to post
harvey88 40
I start them for an hour at a time with a bone, when it's time to move full time make sure he's knackered, full of good food and has a bone to chew whenever he's in there. Same here mate i always start them off at a hour at a time in with a older quiet dog and slowly build it up over a few weeks. Only letting a pup out when it is staying silent. Usually works for me along with a few sprays of the hose. Edited June 8, 2016 by harvey88 Quote Link to post
Somewhereyournot 1,117
Good advice there neems. When I moved my old dog out from house to kennel, I left the kennel door open so they got used to it with out being enclosed , fed her in there, also left a T shirt I had worn in with her bedding and I never had any grief off of her Quote Link to post
