One of the reasons I never, ever wanted to employ full time people !!

I will tell what stress is, it's trying to keep a firm going and feed your own kids while you pay someone not to come to work !

Sorry mate, you are probably a really nice bloke but I have no time for folk looking to rinse out another working bloke......if you don't like it, move on.

Get a couple of weeks sick note and get yourself around the agencies or whatever and get out, the very second you say au revoir youll feel a load of your back. Been there a few times, sometimes the grass isnt greener but it tastes less stale.

I've felt like that a couple times in the past. The first time, my mrs told me to jack it in. I asked what we would do for money and she said it's better we're poor than you're dead of a heart attack. As it happens I was only out of work for 2 days.

The second time, on my way into work, I felt like pulling the bike over at the side of the road and having a little weep :cray: out of the frustration of it all. No job should make you feel like that. Especially if you are working for someone else. 15 minutes later I'd handed in my notice and felt on top of the world.

If it was me then I would be hitting those responsible in the pocket big time-or drop the cnuts-lost my last job when some roid head thought he could boy me off-he wasn't smiling when I took a belt buckle to his teeth in the car park outside his gym-bullies always get what's coming to them in the end-life's to short to worry about when or if the shits going to hit the fan-get in there first is my motto.atb dc

I think some of you have misinterpreted my opening post, went to the doctor this morning and explained that I was Not depressed Nor did I want any medication but what I thought I did need was a couple of weeks time out from the whole carry on and hope that things an be resolved in the meantime...the doctor who I had,nt seen before as I,m very rarely at the docs straight of thanked me for my honesty and said he would give me a line for two weeks, and if the situation had,nt changed by the time it was up he did,nt foresee any problem extending that for another two weeks.

I might be wrong but by not going in there pleading temporary insanity and depression I really do think he appreciated my honesty, they must be sick and tired of people pleading depression when it clearly quite obvious that they have f**k all wrong with them.

Thanks to all who offered sensible answers whether they agreed with me seeking a line or not.

Cheers

So you wanted a couple of weeks off work with full pay because you don't like it there any more?

Not being funny fella but someone has gotta pay them wages, if I don't go work I don't get paid, and rightly so.

You thought about jacking it in and finding another job?

No Gaz I am in dispute with them over their failure to follow proper procedure when dealing with a disiplinary matter"

Fair enough. I still can't see it ending well. Even if you won the case and they had to keep you on then they will make your working life as hard as possible I reckon.
