Cheers. it might be worth gaz, just buying 1/2 dozen cheep chickens, cut the legs of and brest for your self, and rest to dogs , that way your feeding family + dogs at the same time . just freeze what you dont use ,and the dogs will love them raw/frozen anyway

trenchfoot 4,243
http://www.theyloveit.co.uk/chicken-carcass-10-c.asp I used this company to deliver when I'd couldnt find a local supplier
Gaz_1989 9,539
Buying chickens at £2.50 would be about £50 a week. And I would have chicken breast coming out of my ears. Hahaha. I've brought legs and thighs from supermarkets in the past TB25 when I've been desperate and even done it for a few weeks but it's an expensive way of feeding long term, especially for 3 dogs. Probably not so bad for just 1. Thanks for the link trench-foot I will check them out.
pbrookes 450
Is there any chicken processing plants near you Gaz? We have one here well a meat wholesalers actually and we get as much chicken carcass and backs as we want for 20p a kilo. Collected 950kg last week. We just share it out between the lads. All beef/ lamb bones are free. I'm sure there will be one local to you tucked away on some industrial estate. Usually the pakis own them but it will be hell of a lot cheaper than buying full chickens

I think that's where my mate used to go, he used to order me odd boxes of carcass and turkey necks but someone told me he had stopped getting them. I will pop over this week and have a chat with him. Thanks a lot.
trigger2 3,146
if your struggling next time you pop over mate i could probably get some mince chicken for the dogs, i get kilo tubes for a £1. if that fails i order from tpms animal feeds, they deliver to the door on a tuesday in my area. 01527510870 i havent used them for about 18 months but they have been going years so they might be worth a try.
