Thinking of going FAC air next renewal.

 

Can I up a rifle myself and then add it to the slot to acquire?

May as well, apart from that and a flintlock rifle done everything else.

 

The wmr has all but made the lr redundant so have something to trade licence slot wise.

Yes I had my FAC airgun turned up and added onto my cert. It used to be an off ticket sub 12 ftlbs.

I've toyed with the idea a few times of going fac, with my air arms S200.

 

What footpound to most lads run these at and what is the shot count dropped too???

 

I never have had to recharge mine on a outing. I'd comfortably say I fire of less than 30 shots..

Dunno giro but i would be happy around 750fps in 22.

The shop turned mine up as I was getting it serviced at the time. I think you get your RFD to put it on ticket then you can take it home and turn it up yourself.

I have my rws excalibure running at 26 ftlbs and get 35 full power shots before it needs refilling which is more than enough for my needs. It made it into a superb rabbit gun and can take rabbits out to 70 yards.
