Tweaked The Tx A Little

Sounds like bollocks then when people say it's better than a 97 straight out of the box , i don't think so after reading other comments ,not just on this forum and from other shooters as well

Its an odd one. I've had one that was super smooth out of the box and lots of other have but I've also heard of lots like mine as well that have benefitted from a service or a tune or kit etc.

I'm happy with it now though pal.?

I think that any gun can be improved with a little tweaking or tuning. The margin of improvement when tuning a Pro Sport or TX is marginal compared to the bigger differences when properly tuning a HW97. The biggest improvement on a PS or TX is in fettling the trigger mechanism.

All you need to do to a 97 is a polish had a V-mach hit in my .177 97 but far to harsh in the end took it out, a quick polish now it's doing 11.3 and about 4 fps spread and the same with my .22 ,so hardly a proper tune

I tried the pellet on the turret test, the super glue seemed to keep it in place very well.........that is about the only way it would stay on the turret. I did about a dozen shots, pellets all over the place so I think we can say it is not as smooth as it could be.

You can get smooth a crunchy peanut butter.

Both are OK.

Pellet completely falls off my 97 when shot.

Strange.

F*ck knows what thats meant to say about the rifle anyway :D

well before the welsh willie kit was added, the tx would chuck a pellet across the kitchen and now it stays put so it has to have smoothed out the fireing cycle and recoil.

Not a very scientific explanation I know but it's definately improved the rifle?

I think you are supposed to put the pellet in the breech. Not on top of the scope turret.
