FJager 0
Bought this trap a couple of years ago and have know idea what it was actually made to catch. An antiques dealer told me it was for possums but I have yet to see a possum that would warrant such a trap. The spikes are something I have never seen before and a couple of dog trappers I know have never seen 1. In size it is between a rabbit trap and a dog trap. Any information greatly appreciated. OldTrapCollector 377
By my reckoning it is a Victor Oneida Jump # 14 fox trap, made in the USA as a leghold trap for red foxes, but the exact size is difficult to tell exactly from the pic. OTC Quote Link to post
FJager 0
Thanks very much OTC, u obviously know your stuff, I'll take a photo of it beside a rabbit trap for comparison, in size it is approximately halfway between a rabbit trap and a Lane's dingo trap. Thanks again. Quote Link to post
