AKA-BRINDLE 879
RIP ali. he was one of the greatest boxers in a era of good/great boxers and quite possibly the the greatest of all times. RIP ali. he was one of the greatest boxers in a era of good/great boxers and quite possibly the the greatest of all times. That's the thing Trigger, he was a Champion in an era of Super Champions. The Golden Era IMO. Watching the news this morning they kept showing the footage of Henry Cooper putting Ali on the ropes. FFS I think that moment in sporting history meant more to you Brits than the '66 World Cup . LOL. Does everything come down to a hate of the Brits with you or what!???...anyway what was the name of the Heavyweight out of Ireland that put Clay on his arse?? i forget...was it Dan Donnelly maybe?? ...Cooper had one of the best left hooks in the division at that point...Clay was saved by the bell...and if it wernt for a bit of 'gamesmanship' by Angelo Dundee(his words) he wouldnt of made it out for the 5th!...Sugar Ray Robinson hit the nail on the head when he used to say that if Cooper could knock Ali down...Louis would of knocked him out!...but still one of the Greatest...R.I.P...free now after what he had to live with all them years

All fighters have rough patches in their fights, thing is Ali always found a way to survive, Joe Louis didn't. That's what makes Ali the greatest heavyweight of all time IMO.
