frankel 2,123
Well had a week of work and planned in a trip to bonnie Scotland, I live in the Lake District so the hills and water, views etc couldn't be beat. But up where I've been around Loch Lomond & Loch Long are on par if not better... The weather helped, was red hot and even managed to catch a tan. I took the pup left my old bitch swift in the hands of Fuji... Chuffed with the pup really, was good to get her one on one and hopefully learnt a bit while out. Hiked over 20 miles on the mountains. Managed a Munro and a corbett in Ben Lomond & "the cobbler" aka Ben Arthur. Seen some of Scotland finest wildlife, red, fallow and a cuckoo which is first one I've managed to see. Can't wait to go back, or even further north toward Inverness. I'll post a few pics to the topic as day goes on there uploading of the laptop.. Hotel with a view... ? BBQ & a few beers while the sunsets... Ben Lomond 16 Quote Link to post

Was good to be in there company for 15 mins before they headed back away from us. They stood about 50 yards away too. 11 Quote Link to post
