We still call going to the cinema "going to the pictures"

f**k I remember all that and more! Fag machine outside the shop' 10 No.6, for a 2 Bob bit/10p

I still say "get on the flags" when the dogs pull onto the road :D

Decimalization really screwed us as kids, 6 sports mixtures for a tanner, only five when it became a two and half pence piece lol

Cheers, D.

My daughter asked me what I was talking about the other day when we had the radio on in the car and I said I like this record.

One of my kids a few years back was telling me how he had seen this thing like a cd but a bit bigger but smaller than a rave record but still black and it had music on it :hmm: ,he was on about a 7 inch single  ..

I was talking to a woman the other day who's in her late 80s. She mentioned that her neighbours daughter was going out with a Darky and she also mentioned another chap who's one of those Gays that you hear about.

Years ago an Irish saying for pulling a bird was to "shift" her.

We all fell around the place one night when an English girl told us she was popping out to shift her car.
