Deker 3,478
Where is anything new, I am really surprised they just seem to be doing the same stuff as the last team. I thought they were going to inject something new.
The Seeker 3,048
Why did Chris Evans try to impersonate Clarkson in the opening introduction then proceed to shout his way through the episode. "We've won custody of The Stig!" It's proper shite. If the BBC wanted to sack Clarksom they should have put Top Gear to sleep. You know the old saying no one irreplaceable?....well I'm afraid this time that's the case with those three, they became the show. It's tragic

walshie 2,804
I gave it a chance and watched the 2nd one. Even Evans mentioned how much he shouts. The American bloke is trying but humour doesn't roll of their tongues very easily. Top Gear was finished long before Clarkson acted like the local pisshead while he was at work. I guess there's only so much you can do with 3 blokes and cars. Does anyone remember the 15 minutes of agony watching Clarkson and May driving Peugeots round very slowly in the wrong gear and clipping corners? Truly awful viewing. I still don't think Evans will be too upset as he's the one with a prime slot on BBC and the other 3 are on some obscure channel where you have to buy a "thing" to plug into your tv to be able to watch them. shepp 2,285
It appears these these days that who ever is shouting the loudest is having the most fun. Or at least they want you to believe that's the case.
Hydropotesinermis 724
Load of wank. I actually didn't mind Matt but Chris Evans is a c**t.

Spot on, Top Gear had got incredibly stale and played out long before "the incident", don't think I had bothered watching the last 3 or so series.

trenchfoot 4,243
Last nights was good. Chris Harris and the guy who did the RS focus were excellent. Evans interviewing is good and Matt Le Blanc fills the Hammond role well enough. Keep that kind of format and let the show evolve and this time next year we will have forgot about this whoha.
