A Bit Of Ambushing With The Primos

Recommended Posts

Well hopefully I will be out for a bit longer tomorrow but I was up early this morning, unfortunately so we're the golfers so I only had time for a couple of bunnies before I was going to be in someone's way. I tucked in under a tree and had a couple of bunnies as they emerged from near the mower sheds sat down with the primos. If you zoom in you can just see the first one at the tip of the arrow lazed at 52 yards, the other was a tad closer.

I'm well impressed with the sticks, rock steady platform for the 100 so I will be taking the tx out next time with them. Also, this 100 is bloody loving bis mags at all ranges, a bit more loopy but once you know your poi it's no problem at all.

nice one matt, the bizley mags are a belting pellet mate, thats what i use in the r10 sc and have used in a few hw100's as well as other guns, no other pellet matches them in my r10

She didn't seem too keen on them when I first tried them when I bought the rifle but after a couple of thousand jsb exacts, the groups started opening up on them so I switched back to bis mags and took Marks advice on the "tac driver" method of zeroing, combined with the mag spray it's bloody deadly now???

Nice shooting Matt

I'm trying to get my hands on a golf course at the moment that a mate has put me on to. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with it pal, take your insurance with you and let them know you will ring the old bill every time you go on there to stop the owners getting pestered if people ring in about someone shooting???

whats tac driver zeroing pal

Clean your barrel thoroughly, find your chosen best pellet, with the 100, spray very lightly at arms length the loading face of your empty magazine with napier or your chosen oil but only the lightest spray and set about leading in. You will think it's good after 200 or so but after 500 ish pellets, with the mag sprayed every 3rd time or so it will be pellet on pellet, trust me, I took Marks advice and my groups tightened right up pal???

Please let us know how you get on Phil.

Mitch (VM) put me onto Falcon Accuracy Plus in .22 for my HW 100 ks and the accuracy attained is just brilliant,- less than 5p size groups at 35 yards, outdoors :icon_eek:.

I was and am, so impressed with them, that I bought 5000 and boy do they hit hard !

In .177 the advice is Air Arms Express 7.87 grain, or JSB exacts express 7.87 grain, ( same pellet apparently) .

This same pellet (.177) comes "very highly rated" for the T Rex also,- so I will be trying them out soon.

My 100 throws some super tight groups with Bis Mags but after a few recommendations, I am waiting for some JSB Heavies to arrive because they are said to be superb in a 100.

Phil

John very kindly sent me some samples of them along with the weihrauchs too and the groups were ok but for some reason they were not as tight as the bisleys. All barrels are different though pal, yours may love them?
