Anyone intrested in greyhounds Charles Blanning is bringing a book out in 2017 The greyhound and the hare its history in sport should be one to read. :thumbs:

I remember having a few pints with some coursing lads a day or two before they went over for the last Waterloo Cup.

They had never been at the Waterloo Cup before and I was trying to tell them how fine the coursing was but they laughed at me and said that it couldn't be good if a woman was bringing a little dog over from the states.

I remember them coming back eating their words, LOL.

What about Masters descendent Mick the Miller born only 15 miles away from me,,, pass the statue regularly, was the runt of the litter turned out to be a winning machine..........

See that statue in Killigh a lot over the summer months,actually looks very good.
