Haiddheliwr 1,911
First half I thought just maybe but unfortunately fell apart second half. Bale had some terrific strikes but wasn't enough. The journey has come to an end :-(

WILF 46,688
Gutted for Wales but the team and fans can go home with their heads held high That's true, there wasn't much between them in that game, but Portugal were slightly better on the night. Ronaldos technique on that header was as good as you will see.
Bosun11 537
A fantasic, spirited effort by Wales, go home with your heads held high.
Malt 379
Proud as f**k, lads fought to the end. Ramsey was a big miss, too big. Same old story, we can't replace a key player like him, Bale or Ashley Williams. Was the same when we were doing well with the likes of Giggs and Bellamy in the side. I'm not complaining though, we didn't look out of place playing Portugal for most of that match. They have a half decent record of progressing through the tournaments.. Mister Gain 1,764
Would have loved to have seen Wales stuff Portugal, but not to be. You can hold your head high though, you did better than 20 other teams, well in I'd say.
johnny boy68 11,726
Well it wasn't the result we wanted but the boys can hold their heads high and feel proud of what they've achieved. Everybody here is proud of the way they've played and the fans have been amazing out there fair play. What it's done here is hopefully inspired more youngsters to get out and enjoy sport, the FAW has earned £14 million from this tournament, so plenty of money to help football at all levels. We also gone up in the rankings which should give us easier qualification in the future. When the rankings come out next week we'll officially be the best team in Britain. Been a great tournament for us and for Wales in general. Loved the ride and now let's look forward to getting to Russia 2018. #togetherstronger

johnny boy68 11,726
They stopped the Home Championship in 1984 because England didn't want to be in it anymore, they said they could get more competitive fixtures.
