delswal 3,819
Do you know what You could almost see with 10 mins or so to go they realised they didn't know how to play through them. It should be drilled into them on a training pitch, every area of the game/pitch you know what you do next at that level. This was like Sunday league football, they just didn't know how to play, no shaoe, no movement, passing the lot Hodgson gone..... Gutted...... Not How dear you compare that crock of shit tonight to Sunday league football tut tut there's more passion and determination in a Sunday league game the what was shown tonight they should be made to walk all the way home wank c**ts Fcuk coming home leave them were they are

bell 3,591
No doubt someone will say England played well? Piss poor as per usual. Not this time mate I may have been a bit rose tinted in the group games we should've won but tonight we deserved what we got... f**k all I've never seen so many individual errors, it was like they'd never met each other let alone played together. Passing shit, touch shit, defence shit, keeper ffs It was terrible, I actually can't believe it was so bad Yes but apart from that ......
baz 463
Did they have any genuine attacks on goal???

NEWKID 27,132
Wilf, You're right I should've listened to you a couple of weeks back, I don't know why I get sucked in. I think I'm fairly intelligent, level headed etc... But then England put a few decent games together, in the qualifiers, tank the Germans.... Then knock the ball around well in the group stages... Here I go again, I see the positives, I think you know what we can get at sides, these full backs are flying, Rooney looks comfy and composed, Dier looks the part... We'll click, Vardy will score at will... What a Twat!! Oh well..... In 2 years I'll be the same, can't help myself lol Edited June 27, 2016 by NEWKID

WILF 46,687
Watched Iniesta today and then watched Rooney mate (as you know I AM a Rooney fan) but you see his passing starting to break down tonight and that was with plenty of time and space. Even though on the loosing side Iniesta gave a master class today of how to play like that. I have to admit I lives the end when the Iceland captain and the team stood in front of the fans and started that war like chant......you just can't put that in on a training pitch. I heard all the usual "too many foreign players"......."paid too much"........."not technical enough"......."premier leagues not what it thinks it is" blah blah........ Well, I don't happen to agree with any of that.......I have said it before, these players ARE playing alongside, against and training with the best in the world day in, day out.......there is no excuse. Vardy looked the part, just his attitude was excellent when he came on and was sadly lacking in the rest of the team the whole game. We just couldn't deal with Iceland in our own box.......these are defenders who are playing against £30 million strikers every week, twice a week ! It all comes down to attitude, the French showed it......played badly first half but were happy to have the battle then just bossed second half. I know we are a mediocre team but the last couple of years mediocre team realise they can get results if they work hard enough, are fit enough and show real do or die metal. It's not rocket science pal.......as players of a certain age like us used to say, if someone is giving you trouble......kick em up in the f***ing air ! Lol lol
johnny boy68 11,726
No consolation I know but I thought the little bits of Rashford we got to see he was good I thought. Doesn't look out of place at all imo.
WILF 46,687
I couldn't fault Vardy at all, in fact we could have done with a lot more of his attitude. You can see that lad has come from "f**k all" football, he showed lads who have been in youth systems at big clubs all their life how you approach a game and the right attitude to have.
BGD 6,436
Julia Hartley-Brewer just called the England team a bunch of "overpaid nonces" on The Papers on BBC News Now that's a bit strong, I mean they're not SAFC! Edited June 27, 2016 by BGD
Mister Gain 1,764
Am I the only one who wasn't surprised by the result? With the penalty we were gifted a base to build on, fcuk me that didn't last long did it. Joe Hart should throw those gloves away, they've got fcuking great big holes in them. Despite conceding that the inevitable was going to happen I watched it up to about 5 minutes into the second half. Then the night got better, I went outside into the garden and relaxed with a nice bottle of Italian red. Didn't see the result till this morning and was pleased to see we only lost 2-1, I was half expecting Iceland to score 1 or 2 more. Got to give it to them though, Iceland I mean, job done. Be interesting to see how they get on against the French. England team pre-match training video... https://youtu.be/ChK_kp-P9I0?t=1m12s
