Bradus1 498
Blackwell and billyjo was being disrespectful towards the Eubanks there was no need for any off that shows how much they have respect for there sport . Hold your heads up Eubanks top blokes
gnasher16 30,591
Blackwell knows the story has a very short lifespan and wants to cash out as much as possible and a nice story saying he holds them no malice wouldn't of got any follow up. The Eubanks certainly made sure they got as much good publicity as possible and a couple of things made me feel they went a bit far getting it, but at the end of the day they didn't do anything wrong and they were genuine in their concern for wishing him a full recovery. Thats about the strength of it.........the kid has had his earning potential dramatically cut dead and so has sold a story to the papers......its not nice but ol man Eubank has been around long enough to understand it.......as for youngster Eubank i think he,s carried himself correctly and acted like a gentleman throughout.

MIK 4,763
The Eubanks should of respected Blackwell's familys wishes and kept their mouths shut...but obviously couldnt resist the chance of publicity...dont blame Nick Blackwell for being pissed off!...his family posting a picture a bit different to a full blown press conference with the Eubanks trying to portray themselves as some sort of saviours...how i saw it on the night Eubank Snr's comments about 'going to the body'...was more about the fact Jnr clearly didnt have the power to KO Blackwell than anything else...no one knew how badly Blackwell was hurt...not even Blackwell himself...certainly not the Eubanks . CushtyJook 1,097
I do like Nick Blackwell but think his outburst since the coma was not on the Eubanks wanted to clear the subject up and had every right to as they inflicted the damage and could have even killed Nick however I do agree with Nick on the comments Eubank snr was making during the fight about hitting the body not the head it was tactical and not for the benefit of Nick Blackwell and the belt gesture was for the media also
walshie 2,804
Blackwell couldn't do it in the ring, so words are his only way of getting a dig in. Funny how his story changed the more he saw pound signs.
