mattwhite 1,993
Well after flying off to the RFD to pick up my primos and driving back even quicker, I set up the target down the garden at 34 yards and put a couple of mags through the hw100 using the trigger sticks. The first 40 or 50 shots were much better than free standing but still not tight groups until I got comfy and had the correct height and angle. The next mag was much better and then the last one shown below took some bloody concentrating on but there is no way I'm steady enough to get a group that tight freehand. I haven't tried the tx on them yet....that will be an interesting one. 2 Quote Link to post

All the best Thanks pal. It's mostly down to the sticks.if I had been just free standing you would have thought someone had hit it with 12 bore! I've never been too great at standing shots. Is not the point that you enjoy your shooting, and more to the point any thing that can and will help you achieve that goal must be a good thing? Atb Dave Cheers David.I will be out with them tomorrow hopefully. Im gagging to get out on the golf course with them really as they will be very handy on a couple of warrens. Thing is though as the weather has been so nice here, the bloody golfers have been out later than usual thus preventing my last light hunts....the other night I got down there right on the edge of dark and one guy was struggling to see the ball after he had hit it! philpot 5,005
My envy of your groups is not fading very much Matt but I confess to an improvement in my groups using the trigger sticks with my TX but alas not in the same league as you yet, I will however master this bloody springer if it kills me Phil Quote Link to post
