Haha yes some Aussies (mostly Victorians) are very passionate about aussie rules, I can't stand the game myself and think it is a massive waste of our sporting talent as some of the best athletes in the country take up careers in it. Just to clarify, when I called soccer meaningless I meant as in it is not an activity that humans need to do to survive ie producing food or clean water or building shelter,etc. No offence intended to the beautiful game!

Its just dawned on me the poetic justice of that silly f****r ranting on about the gravy......as one go,s up the other go,s down......another example of how having a big mouth can get you in trouble !

 

Well in the Toon lot,the only club with any relevance in the north east.......be interesting to see if Rafa stays and how much Ashley will throw at it now,with the right backing a club of that size would have to have their sights on Europe within 5 years surely.
