Winchester Subsonic .22Lr 42G Coefficients

Recommended Posts

After years with the 40g winchester subs I switched to CCI last year, but I've not been happy recently and they've been a bit erratic, after checking all usual causes and still no improvement I grabbed a mixture of rounds including Eley, RWS, winchester 40g + winchester 42g.

To my surprise the Winchster 42g we're the most consistent in my rifle (anschutz 1417) so I've now switched to these, I was then curious of the drop compared to the 40g, knowing it wouldn't be much, but couldn't find the BC info anywhere online so I made contact with Winchester.

I've since had a response from Winchester and the BC for this round = .109

Hopefully this post will help someone in the future :D

.109 seems quite low; even Winchester X22 is better than that at .148.

So really in all honesty........is this going to matter one jot  ............................................:laugh::laugh:

Won't make any difference mate like I said in post didn't expect it to, but I was curious and couldn't find info, so thought I'd share just incase someone else was curious.
