Guest Frank
Thanks S. That was taken in 92. Jess, the white dog in the pic, was a deerhound x greayhound. She was 25'' and a great dog on most game, but not a fox dog. The pup on the right, was a saluki x grehound x collie, he turned out to be a very good dog too, took a lot of daytime hares with me, till he hit a tree one night lamping after bunnys, broke a lot of bones, had to be put down and he was in his prime. Shit happens, but it was avery good time for me, the 90's, free single and hunting with running dogs most day and nights. Make the most of it S. Quote Link to post
mick 7
I would have no problem with a white dog as long as its doing the biss. But I do love the brindles. Thats a very nice dog Love the brindles Mick.. Quote Link to post
shagly 0
if the dog ran 10 and caught 9 its proved itself in my book regardless of colour, he must be one of them types that just likes switchin dogs all the time Quote Link to post

ghengis 4
i have a mate i went to college with, will not have a dog if it has white markings, also wont have a pied dog either..only has fawn or brindles. imo if it worked on the lamp as good as whats been said i`d have it, if it was pink, red whatever color..seen a few white dogs working and the rabbits didnt know they were there until it was too late. juckler123 707
Only reason ive never wanted a white dog is the fact that i wouldnt be confident of being able to dissapear if it came on top at night ive avoided keepers by covering the dogs eyes and keeping my own head down in the hedgebottom the thought of having to lie on the dog to cover its outline has always put me off.
