jiggy 3,209
Probably a womb infection a shot of penicillen would most likely clear it. Quote Link to post

You must think a fair bit of dog to breed off her and she give you a litter of pups whats a few ££ to make sure she right.Imo It OK coming on here asking for advice if you know what problem is, no point taking advice on What a problem could be. 5 Quote Link to post

Plucky1 1,119
it is common for a bitch to produce some fluid from her vagina whilst she is in milk or still feeding the pups, if it is dirty blood then take her the vets, especially if it smells, once she is away from the pups totally then she will tighten up naturally, most vets do not supply milk suppression tablets like they used to and so the whole process can take a little longer when left to nature, when you say she gets sick what does that mean ?? most bitches will regurgitate food if left near to the pups, my old both "MILEY" will sneak off and do this at every feeding if not watched closely, wolves do it in nature and so do wild dogs but if you mean she won't eat and is losing condition then get her looked at,worming may also help, hope you get her sorted,WM 4 Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
If the pups are 6wks old then its hardly a case of 1 left oin her as i reckon the poison would have gone through her in a matter of days could just be an infection she has picked up and i reckon the geting sick part is for the pups sake. 3 Quote Link to post
