that is a very thick ferret collar with a lot of spare through the buckle ...

That would worry me for fear of getting snagged up on a root below etc etc.

 

as for bells... no not for me.. silence is golden.

I'm the same can't see a bell hepng when there in really deep and for working cover a extra knocker box at each end set at its max when it starts beeping then you know your ferrets out it seems just more to catch on the nets

 

 

Unless your the Warrener he just seems to put a elastic band with a bell on his ferrets which I think is funny as debenhams seems to give him everything you would think he would have plenty boxes and collars ?

Bells would wreck me head, IF cover to thick leave it till January,,always knock nettles with spade make sure can see all the holes,,never lost ferret in 23 years ferreting............
