Big Thanks To Bigmac 97Kt

Recommended Posts

After reading Bigmac's posts on his stock revival's. I thought I would re-do my old Airsporter. It started off like this

I got it to this:

Now came the problems, and after a couple of pm's back and for with bigmac, I got her finished:

Not the best I know, but 10x better than what she was. I'm happy with her and to me that's all that matters.

So thanks again to bigmac for his help

Luke

Now we have an honest view on a stock restoration,no doubt harder than its made to look, especially when it's shown over time in step by step pics,by the way it looks good and no doubt worth the effort, will you be doing more and taking to other thl stocks members on?

Well done , i told you if you take your time she will be right

You have done a cracking job Luke

and what a transformation ,,,,she looks stunning ,,,don't think i could improve on her my self

And at the end of the day like you say,d ,,,,your happy with her and that's all that counts

You have fetched what was in its time the creme de creme of what was the most sort after rifle in its time

back to being even better than new .

The markings on her are nice and the darker patches make her stand out

now just let her stand for a week or two to let her really harden off

When you start to do the stocks lads it is nerve raking and especially the finishing touches as if they go wrong you have to start all over again .

And no need to thank me Luke YOU DID THE JOB on the stock and credit where credit is due

you did a cracking job on her

i was only there at the other end of the pm,s

You should be proud of your self for even trying it never mind the stunning rifle you have in front of you

all i can say is

TOP CLASS LUKE TOP FECKING CLASS

atvbmac

PS,,, so come on lads if you have a rifle with the stock all tater,d and torn then get set about them and bring them back to life

then put the picks up for us to see

if you get stuck just pm me and ill guide you through it
