had a look today when cleaning out. counted 12 !!!!!

The biggest litter I've had is 15. The Jill killed all but 6 don't think she could cope with that many.

Had two jills in one hutch raise 27 between them but haven't a clue how many in each litter... feeding them was a nightmare...used to travel across great Altcar early every morning to get to work... anything dead on the road was straight in the back of the van... hares pheasants rabbits woodpigeons the lot got brought home... hutch was 12 foot long.. if ferret shit was valuable I'd have been a millionaire :-))

Had a 12 then a 13 from the same jill two years running im only needing one jill kit this year so im no chancing breeding her again I will just pick one up

There was a thread on the same thing last year and if I remember right there was one lad who said he'd had a litter of twenty plus. Can't remember if it was 22 or might even have been 26.

the two biggest litter i,ve had was by 2 litter sisters in the 80s they had 15 each and reared the lot this year i have 2 litters of 9 and 10 which is quite rare for me as most years i have litters of 5 or 6
