Roe leg. I covered it in beef dripping, sprinkled with season all, double wrapped in smokey bacon and stuck in in the oven with a foil cover over the dish. Just had the bacon for a late breakfast.

How did this turn out,i don't have venison a smuch as I'd like and I like the sound of this with dripping and seasoning,

To be honest you couldn't taste the seasoning in the carved meat. It was good, but just roast meat. The Mrs and kids won't eat it pink so it wasn't out of this world juicy!!

 

It did a tea and my butties for a few days

I like it when you've enjoyed meat then have enough for a few sandwiches after,i know what you mean about the family as well mine are like that so I have to cook things how they like them but I'm happy that they try the stuff I do cook...
