philpot 5,050
Whilst I have been on holiday, I picked up a copy of Sporting Gun magazine and the Sportsman gun shop in wales has some Deer Hunter clothes on offer. In the selection of gear in the sale is a thin mesh leaf suit for sale at £24.99 plus £6 postage so I bought one.It arrived before we got back, very nice indeed, quiet material, built in peak and face veil and a large front pocket, superb value for money, so if any of you fancy a leaf / gille suit at a cheap price.........I must say these suits dont have anywhere as much leaf effect on as an out and out gillie suit but there again they are not £125ish either. http://www.deerhunterclothing.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=2065%20&product_id=425 http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/deerhunter-sneaky-3d-pull-over-set-with-anorakPhil Edited May 21, 2016 by philpot 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,050
I have just got round to opening all the mail Jimmy and yes the targets have arrived so thank you mate, spot on.......if you excuse the pun I should have also said the suit is printed in real tree so not plain coloured fabric. I am very pleased, I would take a photo to show you you won't be able to see me. Phil Edited May 21, 2016 by philpot 2 Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
If you need one and are size 2XL/3XL (that's all they seem to have) then a good deal! Quote Link to post
bilbobagins 92
When real tree camo came out I thought I must have one of these suits but as the years pass I realised that if I wear dark clothing and keep still rabbits will come quite close as their eyesight is not that good Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,861
Deerhunter stuff is reasonable quality for the money but their sizes tend to be on the small size. A "Large" waist is tight on me (34") Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,050
If you need one and are size 2XL/3XL (that's all they seem to have) then a good deal! When I phoned them to place my order, they had far more sizes than shown on the advert. It's true that their sizes are smaller than some other companies. I normally take XL or with some companies XXL but with Deer Hunter I take 3XL, for the fuller figure you understand...to be honest, it really doesn't matter if the suit is larger than your true size as these mesh suits can be a loose fit and still function perfectly because they are not designed to be FITTED clothes.
