lukey 1,621
A good appointment for the biggest team in Scotland and one of the biggest in the world ...Hopefully Rangers can rise to the challenge of the SPL next season but I doubt it and they will need a few seasons to get up there challenging us and will probably end up mid table or 4th-3rd at best Sounds about right mik. So would Rodgers be for the chop then if Rangers managed to pull it of?Personally I think he would be....this fantasy you lads seem to have that you are 'back' is a little far fetched though mate. I still think that you are looking at 4th place next season. You have lots too do yet. Warburton has had a very good season...no doubt. But next year will be a massive difference in terms of level of football. We will see if you can do it consistently through the year. As for Rodgers.......I really think we needed to push the boat out and I think we have done that. He's the type of manager that will excite the fans, get bums on seats. I hear rumours of 15m to spend as well. Just have to wait and see on thT front. Bring it on.....HH How is it a fantasy lab? We are back, MW has done an amazing job at Rangers and he got players playing, and I can't wait to see what happens next year. How hard will it be for him to put out a squad to better Aberdeen? In fact how hard would it be to put out a squad to better Celtic? BR will spend at Celtic but he'll have to get it bang on and just because he's a big name doesn't mean that he will. Scottish football is about to get intresting again I think (for us) f**k money and f**k multi millionaire superstars, I want to see players on the pitch playing for the badge! It's just how I see it mate. But we will know by this time next year for sure. I think MW has managed to get away with playing a young side in that league without any serious pressure. When next season starts and 'if' the young lads start to toil the fans will start to get on there back and that's when we will really see what MW is made off. Until then I don't think you have been tested too hard. A disappointing Celtic on the day took it too penalties.
onion jonny 526
exactly lab rangers were the better team that day as a lot of wee teams are in cup games but over a season it will show who's who, as for been back its the first time the rangers have been in the big league so heres hoping it doesnt become to much for them, i like what bet fred says newco ranger are fav to beat hibs. i see dave king saying the last four league titles celtic won dont count as the rangers werent in the league, seems a bit harsh on the other teams that were there. pesky1972 5,294
Congratulations to the Hibs. The wait for their long suffering fans finally over. My brother in law & niece are mad Hibees and at the game today so I'm going to hear about this one for a while? To be fair though, the Hibs fans singing Sunshine on Leith at the end has to be up there with the best spectacles in Scottish football. Maybe a wee reality check for Rangers fans too who, after winning the first division and knocking a poor Celtic side out the cup on pens, were getting a bit carried away with how good they are. Roll on next season...⚽️
