had a steady walk out for a couple of hours today with the dogs. it was nice for my pup to get to know some of his future hunting buddies. they all got on well which is a good start to many a trip out

I reckon you're right there trigg...a bit of extra weight certainly won't harm Ben and Cruyff for what you lads want them for   I took a couple of pics this afternoon of Brego

The young dog found a tiny dead rabbit the other day billhardy and I managed a few nice retrieves off him mate       He started jumping really well now mate

attachicon.gifimage.jpegcryuff weighed 8.5kg they seem to be running along has from tiny Welps atb bunnys

theres nothing between our pups weight wise. it would be nice to see if theres much difference build wise[/qu Ben looks and I expect to be Tlingit in the leg trigg that's how they grew had Welps and that seems to be going that way, I think cryuff looks to be carrying as midge more grey but who know this could only be phenotype , cryuff has the same rise over the loin when standing I like this in the type has pups .has for diffence in the alsation type such has Buck he will be lots lighter in frame and bone but still very strong I see a vast difference with the introduction of the sal blood and in this breeding it looks to have come through pretty strong which his I think could be for the better of the xs ,has we know alsation greys like lots of base types run hot ,the sal will definitely have that coolant affect other than big butch Ben seems to be one of the tallest if not largest he Ben had the better type for me than butch more robust and better density in body mass, and for the f1 xs can only be for the best . The alsation types ,and I ha e seen and owned a few rarely carry anything other than large bone and need to be bred on to get the desired affects that these have on a straight first gen ,if this makes much diffence in the field needs to be seen but hey that we shall soon know in next season or 2atb bunnys

I reckon one of the best things about these crosses over more traditional types is no one will look twice if you're walking the land with one or seen driving the lanes with one in the back of the motor. Don't look like your typical lurcher at all.

Nice strong little pup trigger.

And as a pack they look stealthy,

Joe public wouldn't report a pack of lurchers roaming about would they?

cheers roybo. ive just got from a walk local and bumped into a couple with there kid and they wouldnt believe the pup was a lurcher, as you say its got it plus points.
