Hotel trivago mate I got London Hilton over looking the the river 200 quid room 40 pound my Misses was well made up... She was crashed by 11 so plenty of time to grab the rods out of the car and back by 4 #winning

Stick in cheap hotels and the location and see what you get. Some good deals out there.

You'll be fine in Chester mate, real nice place. We stayed in the George and Dragon few year back. Will you hit traffic heading south from your area though on a friday afternoon?

I was thinking about suggesting York. Bit more milage though. Similar to Chester, but York just gets the nod in my opinion. Loads of nice pubs to go at. Rammed with B&B's, cant beat them.

York is my first choice but a bit far for tomorrow.

Yeah prob hit traffic but even if it takes two hours still got time for a mooch before finding a table.

You can use my spare bedroom cheap ,I will light a candle for the romantic feel ,its cheap ,and I will slip the mother in law a sleeping pill ,so you probably won't even wake her up .
