Does the 3 year old get stuck into cover mate? What's it like for staying close with it being half beagle?

she loves cover hunts more like a terrier and has a good voice very steady bitch,if she does range out in a big cover a couple of whistles and she is back faster than the springer and the teckel, if she is not on something.
