BGD 6,436
I'd blame the shambles of a campaign and certain toxic personalities associated with it personally...
BGD 6,436
The Campaigne ain't been a level playing field Camcon said he would stay impartial but lied again and spent 10 mill of taxpayers money scaremongering folk with a bullshit leaflet thru every door in the land. He also said a leave vote would start WW3 amongst a whole load of other bullshit Do you really think a single leaflet sent out over a month ago really made that much difference? There's been ridiculous claims from both sides, that's one of the main things that's turned folk off.
Born Hunter 17,798
Cracking closing speech by the Telegraph! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2016/06/20/vote-leave-to-benefit-from-a-world-of-opportunity/ For me, this is about retaining a more accountable democracy, independence, identity and security! It's about not ceding our sovereignty, our right to politically self determine, for short term prosperity. Very simply, to remain will be the final nail in the coffin of the countries of Europe maintaining their status as nation states, the future will be one of a single nation state of Europe, a United States of Europe. f**k the politicians promises to the contrary! f**k their threats of impending doom! I can't play a part in letting that happen.
Born Hunter 17,798
I'll add to that, threats of the EU punishing us beyond what their legal framework forces just makes me want to grit my teeth, stand firm and suffer. That's what being British means to me, it's an unwavering fearless attitude of doing what is right and having the courage to take that step for the rest to follow. My ancestors stood in the face of greater tyranny and gambled far more than I am for that cause. To believe what I do and vote any other way would be cowardice and I'd have no right to associate with them as a Briton.

DogFox123 1,379
Calais was shut down yesterday after a gang of 300 stone-throwing migrants stormed the port and tried to board ferries to Britain, strangely no mention of it from the news....

johnny boy68 11,726
Sound familiar? Anne Tvinnereim, Deputy Leader of Norway's Centre Party recalls the scaremongering that was heard in Norway's 1994 referendum over EU membership. Does any of this sound familiar? "They said we would lose 100,000 jobs; they said the biggest businesses would leave Norway and there would be no more investment. They said the interest rates would increase significantly. The Yes campaign even made a calculation that every Norwegian family would lose £3,000. They said we would be totally isolated if we did not join the EU - they wouldn't want to trade with us and we would have no negotiating power whatsoever. We would be a small isolated island up in the north with no influence." She goes on to say, "And of course, it was all rubbish!" Let's remind ourselves that two of the richest countries in Europe and indeed the world - Norway and Switzerland - are NOT members of the European Union. Don't let the Government's Project Fear be in your contemplation on Thursday when you cast your vote - be like the Norwegian people who have consistently rejected greater European political integration and are doing perfectly well outside the European Union thank you very much! #VoteLeave
