I don't understand why Corbyn (a communist/socialist) supports the EU, which is surely a massive capitalist organisation........

Or maybe he's just keeping out of it, because his Party is as divided as CamCon's ?

I don't really agree with that. I would agree that the EU is not a communist state/project by the true definition but it's economic policies are left leaning. Not quite socialists perhaps but social democrats.....

Our EU membership was opposed by Militant, and is still opposed by SWPand, the Communist Party of GB, other "hard left" factions, who condemn it as "capitalist". Why do they oppose it but Corbyn (a communist/socialist) supports it ?

Because he ain't really a hardline commy is he. EU politics are dominated by social democrats, which Corbyn strongly sympathises with. As much as we throw around terms like socialist and capitalist etc rarely should they be used as absolutes. The EU has capitalist policies like the free market idea etc, which is why corporations and economic conservatives often favor it but equally it has economic policies which are designed to reduce market competitiveness as a means of achieving what they perceive as greater social justice and equality.

UK politics sit firmly on the right of the EU's, Corbyn might well be left of the EU but it's closer to his comfort zone than the UK is.

That's just my opinion, like I said, it's not right to label it as absolutely left or right, so different folks will make different evaluations.

Nope.. The more they stick together and tell me to do something the more I think it's best to do the opposite.. Comes to something when you have that twat Cameron saying that Sadiq Khan has links to extremists, then sharing a stage and being all pally with him 2 weeks later when they're trying to influence a referendum vote in their favour. No wonder people dont give a shit about politics.. Should all be jailed for their f**king political shenanigans and trying to influence things like they are.. Just give us the info and let us make our own minds up, f**king morons..

Sadiq Khan visited his school friend Babar Ahmad several times in HMP Woodhill, just down the road from me.

Ahmad was later extradited to the US, where he was sentenced to 12 years, for providing material support to terrorists.

He ran a website that published Bin Laden's "declaration of war" and encouraged Europeans to join jihad. He also raised funds for the Taliban, and transferred money to their representatives in Pakistan.

Nice choice of friends, Mr Mayor !

Wev all got to keep at it trying to convince as many as poss to vote our.

The self elected elite have tried every scaremongering trick in the book to keep their fingers in the EU pie.

It's going to be close' very close.

it will be rigged to remain , they have too much to loose ,the eu will collapse and they will not let this happen ,
