smithwicks 182
Was giving an incubator off a friend to hatch out a few pheasant eggs, the dew date came for them to hatch and only a 3rd of the batch i had on hatched. i cracked open a few that didnt hatch and they were fully formed but dead. Is there any reason as to why they were dead and didn't hatch even though temp ad moisture was monitored 100%?? Quote Link to post

smithwicks 182
Just to say, was talking to a man that incubates around 10,000 birds a year the other day and i asked him the same question, he said that it hadnt nothing to do with moisture but was more than likely an infection the eggs picked up either where they were layed of a dirty incubator!
